Liverpool close in on Tom Ince return

The Merseysiders are on the verge of agreeing a fee of around £5-6 million for the 20-year-old winger with Blackpool, who accept that he will move to Anfield this month

The story is too old to be commented.

Cost Blackpool about £300k compensation to sign Ince from Liverpool 17 months ago.

Now Liverpool are supposed to be willing to pay effectively 65 percent of 6 million pounds PLUS potentially his cut of the total fee PLUS give Blackpool a 10 percent sell on agreement- just to get him back again.

Liverpool's transfer fumblings never end.

Ince left because of hodgson and his dinosaur tactics. Also he wanted more game time and wasn't getting any, these were the main reasons he wanted out. However, you're right Liverpool made a hash of this as usual but it was difficult since the club was going through a tough period with the previous owners.
