Luis Suarez considering Liverpool future as Manchester City wait in the wings

The Uruguayan is ready to leave the Reds in the summer, with owners FSG willing to listen to offers worth £40m-plus as City plan a summer overhaul of their strikeforce

The story is too old to be commented.

Interesting, but would he come off the bench?? Furthermore, liverpool would be idiotic to let him go. Unless they plan to use those 40 million on another disappointing player. *Cough* Carroll *cough*

well yeah , he's the best player in liverpool and he's always like the savior to them so it will be very stupid to let him go ...

Don't think he would go to City. Don't think Liverpool would sell to City. Could be wrong but just don't think City would need him unless they offload Aguero and Balotelli. Think he would go abroad, he could go to Madrid. I think as much as the Liverpool fans love him, the board is not keen on him constantly attracting the wrong sort of attention for the club.

It can be bad for business selling your best players, not always, but it is just as bad for business if you court controversy constantly. This is something to consider, as FSG have been trying endlessly to bring more investment into the club.

Liverpool got a good price for Torres and would get a good price for Suarez. Would be hard for them to turn down a double your money offer on him.

I can't see him staying at Liverpool in the position they are in and I can't see what they would do without him.

he could stay if liverpool buy some good players with him and get better in the competitions

Not gonna happen though is it? With there owners and current position they are in a bad place to get new players. Teams need to take advantage of the 4th spot thats wide open again for a 2nd year in English football. Liverpool wont do that and Suarez may go somewhere where he can win trophys other than a league cup.

He's a world class player (hate to say it) and should go to a team where they can challenge for trophies consistently

If I thought Arsenal selling RVP was bad, Suarez leaving Liverpool would put them back in the disaster category. They need him more than anyone at the moment, because they need his goals.
