Im really hoping I see something shaken up in the Midfield instead. yea carrick is good but we need someone with more creativity and energy. I would love to see a replacement 'next' scholes. Yeah I'd love to see Hummels at united too
He's good. I would have preferred to see Hummels but United need at least one CB, mainly because Ferdinand may leave or is at least nearing the end, Vidic isn't getting any younger either.
Smalling will be first choice eventually and Jones too, but I see Jones more as a midfield enforcer, the kind United have not had since Roy Keane.
In that case, another centre back will be required.
Glad we got a new CB in the team but i think we need someone like Modric in midfield area who can play creative football, score goals and defend. I hear he also wants to come too.
We have 5 CentreBacks, of those 5 CB's two is nearing the end of their careers, and the other 3 are young and learning. Ferdinand (while great) cannot be expected to start every game. Vidic (while equally great) is an injury risk every season. That leaves us with Jones, Smalling and Evans. A new CB is definately what we need. Vidic and Ferdinand have a few seasons left in them but we need to groom their replacements. BTW Jones is not really a CB anyway, more of a John O' Shea utility type player who can play anywhere.
not sure what garay is like, i've seen him 'on form' in fifa so i guess he's doing something right! :L
