Hitzfeld warns Guardiola: Expectations are high

The former Bayern Munich boss believes there is a "hype" building around the ex-Barcelona coach's arrival at the Bundesliga leaders which may prove difficult to live up to

The story is too old to be commented.

I'm quite sure he won't replicate Barcelona's 09 success, one in a lifetime achievement

he most probably wont, but that is what is going to be expected of him unfortunately. if he doesn't produce that again, "rich-immediate success-throw money to fix problems" type of owners will consider that a failure and fire him. i think thats why he avoided moving to such clubs.

with that said, bayern would be expecting a trebble season at least once while he is there.

I just want to see how he will perform without world beaters like Xavi, Iniesta & Messi

tbh i dont think its too much to ask they already have a team that can easily challenge for champions league.

and he has Robben and Ribery 2 of the best wingers outside of Ronaldo and Messi so its not like he doesnt have world beaters available.

he also has the best fullback in the world in Lahm, one of the best CM's in Schwienstieger,Germany's no1 keeper in Neuer and thats just them they have plenty of good players around them.

Pep has always had it easy.

He doesn't even have to buy anyone and already Bayern is arguably the best team in the world.

I wonder how he is going to live up to Bayern next year with Bayern possibly doing the treble this season without him. His chances at being a failure would be at an all-time high.
