Ba already proving his worth and a bargain at 7m

jak3y13oy4120d ago

indeed! hopefully he can get more goals with a better team which = more points! :D

Newcastle made a bad mistake including such a low release fee in his contract and they'll regret it. He is worth at least double that and of course they couldn't reject offers meeting the clause and keep hold of him to the end of this season.

Newcastle desperately needed his goals to ensure they survive more comfortably.

I don't think they will get relegated, but without Ba it'll be much more of a fight and they won't be safe now until right at the end of the season. Newcastle need their injured players back fit-it has hurt them badly.

Anyway, I digress. Chelsea needed to win this one after the shocking performance against QPR, and they did. I don't think they can challenge for the premier league and will get the boot in the europa league because it isn't a priority.

However the League cup and FA cup double is on, and they have a good chance IMO. Chelsea usually do well in the domestic cups.

they got him for a bargain from West Ham too and they still make money after this deal. plus, they are not doing too good at the moment and holding him back at the club is like holding back Ba's of a better future at a better club as he has proven this season that he's a real deal and he'll just get better!

good to see Ba continue his good form with chelsea straight away, in comparison torres took 25 games to score a single goal for chelsea (according to yahoo sports)

maybe, just maybe, with a proper inform striker chelsea could challenge for the title, moses + Ba and our midfield should be pretty strong

karim4119d ago

12-13 for his first goal...30 games for his second...Ba took 65 minutes to score two

silvacrest4119d ago

yeah i got it wrong but still, that piece of information is so telling

i hope roman doesn't force benitez to play torres even when hes not inform

just pair Ba with any other striker we have and i believe we will do far better, torres is just to inconsistent even when in form

karim4119d ago

The problem is the only other striker we have is Torres..Lukaku is doing well at West Brom, maybe he'll be decent with Ba next season

silvacrest4119d ago

moses will do until lukaku returns or another striker is bought

relying on torres is like playing russian roulette

XboxInnovation4120d ago

Time to sell Torres. Lukaku and Ba upfront next season, that's scary.
