Inter accept Galatasaray bid for Sneijder

The Netherlands international could be on his way out of San Siro after Massimo Moratti gave the green light to a move to Turkey, with the switch now in the hands of the player

The story is too old to be commented.

HA! if he accepts to go to turkey then he is an idiot, just looking to fill up his bank account even more.

His agent denies this now. I think his agent is stalling and crawling his way around other proper top clubs with his hat in hand.

Sneijder blew his big chance to go to Manchester United and earn £200k a week 18 months ago. He wanted MORE money!

Now it seems there is limited interest because of his ridiculous wage demands.

He must lower his expectations. As soon as he says he'll accept something more realistic in line with his current status instead of what he thought his status was a couple years ago, the clubs will clamber over each other to sign him.

But then if he does that, he may as well stay at Inter anyway and agree the paycut.

It is a weird situation. If he suddenly turns around though and says ok, I'll accept "only" £120k and I want to leave now anyway because I am tired of Inter then he would get the club he wants. 8 million pound fee? For a player valued at around 30 million 2 years ago? A lot of clubs would take a chance on him.

I am not sure Manchester United would though, simply because Kagawa was the man signed instead. Ferguson would have to be really eager.
