Both Ronaldo and messi were kept pretty quiet in this one. Other than maybe Ronaldo's runs up the side but still no real threat. Cesc was just in the right spot, lucky really. Varane was man of the match! Dude is beast! I better see some IF Varane on FUT! And hopefully ,as of late, blind Mourinho plays him at CB with Pepe. Ramos goes back to the right and Marcelo on the left. We'll be solid! Can't wait for the 2nd leg!
Barca blew it, yes it is a decent result but a crappy one considering the players Real Madrid had out. Somewhere Barca is just not being as efficient as they should be, they're not driving Madrid nuts like they use to, and that Barca that just has the ball regardless of how much Real Madrid pushes up front is just not showing up. Hopefully we get a good result at camp nou, it's gonna be difficult to contain them.

yeah Ozil played superbly in this game ( Man of the match in offense ) but still Varane did have a better game overall . btw that doesnt make CR7 non-existent or useless because he is still our main man in the team he was a great leader playing both offensive football and defensive so i would say a good match for ronaldo but not up to his standards of course
I'm well aware of what ronaldo means to the team. However, I think in the coming year or 2 it'll be time to start looking for a new striker as I don't see him staying with RM for too long. Also, other than missing shots on goal he was pretty much a non factor in the match.
Ozil played well unlike Modric and Higuain. Both teams had a chance to take the win, but no one took it. Hopefully, they won't make the same mistake come the end of feb.
Everywhere in the world are saying Barsa forgive RM and RM players and fans are in denial and think that the game was very even and they could beat Barsa LOL ..
you must be relatively new around here, mostly because there aren't that many RM fans on this board. No one here is in denial, well at least not me. Mou will most likely leave at the end of the season.

If anything barca fans should be the happiest. They dominated the match against a Real Madrid squad that was missing 6 players.

And yes you are in denial, every news pager have it clearly barsa forgiving real at that game except the few(marca, as) and the fans.

Funny how yesterday Alves fell and hit the ball with his hand, it went unnoticed and today 2 penalties were given to atletico madrid because a sevilla players did the same thing. Things like this ruin an otherwise beautiful game.
I noticed someone saying something about marca/as not mentioning the results as clearly as "the rest of the world", that's normal, those papers are more interested in the drama that goes on in the dressing rooms.
One thing is clear from that game (and quite a surprise), Madrid have a solid beast of a central defender for years to come.
