Oh please, quit it with defending this bozo. The defender had every right to go for the 50/50 ball and Suarez hit the deck upon being tapped. He was also booked for diving in the 90th min as well. Also, nowhere did I say that Suarez is the only one who dives but it seems to be the same old story with this goon.
Don't know how Liverpool lost that game tonight with the penalty and West Brom not having a shot until 80m. West Brom now go above them with that result and Liverpool have still yet to beat a team in the top half.
Agree 100%. It was a dive, the defender barely touched him. After watching the Ireland - England rugby game at the weekend you have to laugh at people who back up players who fall at the slightest contact. They are all men, supposedly.
It doesn't get more mid table than this. West Brom certainly managed a smash and grab but thats football. They won ugly, which Liverpool so often fail to do.
I can't see Liverpool finishing any higher than 7th, Everton have a decent cushion and will finish above them for the 2nd time in a row.
Rodgers will argue that he has moved the team forward but in context, Liverpool are further away from the golden Champions League place than they were at a similar stage last season. (7 points versus 12 before/after tonight)
That should teach their cheapskate owners. If they want to cut-back expenditure, they should also expect a cut-back in results.
I hope the team finishes outside the top10. Fed up with their weak mentality and careless play. So many poor decisions, poor touches, poor passes, poor composure and poor marking. This team will definitely NOT make the top 4 within the next 10 years, nevermind challenge for the title.
And I hope Suarez leaves in the summer. Can't stand the guy anymore. Way to ruin your recent "turning a new leaf" image with two blatant dives. If he can't change his attitude, he should go far away from the Premier League. He sure knows how to pick the worst times to open his mouth or perform a controversial act.
Damn you, Gerrard.

Bad defending all round.
As for utd until you die.
Utd will get some humble pie by real Madrid.
