Chelsea remove Di Matteo picture from Stamford Bridge

The club have replaced a poster which featured their former manager alongside the current squad with an image of last season's triumphant Champions League team

Chelsea have removed a picture of former boss Roberto Di Matteo posing with the Champions League trophy from Stamford Bridge's iconic West Stand wall.

The story is too old to be commented.

Such...a...fucking...disgrace. ..

After going on a 10 game unbeaten streak we hit a rough patch and Di Matteo gets sacked... Now we have Benitez and look where we are now... Are you happy Abramovich?! Do you still think it was the right decision?

language goku!

Its stupid how chelsea sack him for winning the champions league -.- but i think its Abramovichs advisers and that who tell him to..?

goku323594065d ago

Yeah sorry about that, it's just something that really makes me angry.

And you're right. It's not just Abramovich, it's the board and advisors at fault as well.

I just want to get one good manager over the summer and stick with him for many years to come. Stability is key, just look at United.

That pic is great. You can see David Gill, Manchester United chief exec smiling in the background and he clapped, and took photos at Chelsea's win.

Class act.

Completely the opposite of what Chelsea's board is. Bunch of jackasses.

personally i agree with the use of inappropriate language, mostly because it fits the bill, its nice to see how thankful Chelsea management is, players are c*nts as well for not standing up for the image of the man.

Ron Gourlay, Bruce Buck and the other members of our so called board are the reason Chelsea is in this position now and hated by many..We need people who actually care about us and aren't classless mongs

Dungus4065d ago

Laughable. Sacking him was bad enough, now they need to stoop even lower. Maybe one day a manager they care about will win the Champion's League and that one will matter. Di Matteo's was just a practice trophy. Haha.

That has to appear next to the definition of ungrateful.

Abramovich is a headline whore. He loves attention, especially controversial attention.
