I think it is obvious their defence needs serious attention. They desperately need a new world class centre back. Mascherano can do a job there but the fact is, he just isn't a centre back and never was. Puyol is past his best and Pique heavily relies on him being in the side to perform, Abidal has struggled for fitness and will probably never be the same player again. He is nearly 34 as well. Adriano isn't remotely good enough, Bartra has no experience.

their problem is lack of actual defenders as lets face it Pique is the only decent CB in that side now and even then he can be extremely clumsy.
the thing Neymar will have to learn quick is Messi is the main man and will be aslong as hes there which i think somebody with as big of a ego as Neymar wont like.
I think he has potential, one that will be unlocked in Europe, so now we'll see how great he can really be. Hopefully Barca sign that much needed CB, Puyols is done, and we can't hold off and wait for a youngster to step up in so little time. Not to mention, they need a goalkeeper. Hopefully Tello still gets some playing time down that left wing.

messi and neymar next season should be interesting. now madrid have to counter and make a signing which is just as good, gareth bale i think.
