City were abysmal, although that was a cracker from negrado.

Bayern's just too good at the moment. They can defend, do quick counter-attacks and keep possession of the ball by passing it beautifully around the pitch. Best team in the world!

I completely agree with the best team in the world statement. I feel like Madrid is the only team that could beat them and that is if everyone in the team is having an excellent game

Dark113848d ago

chelsea could beat them too.

Grap3848d ago

how is that? Madrid didn't show any good game this year so far.

Computersaysno3848d ago (Edited 3848d ago )

Bayern would beat anyone, they are on fire right now. They are in their prime, this is their Barcelona 09. They seem incredible.

But just like Barcelona 3-4 years ago where it seemed the bar was raised too high for anyone to match, it eventually lowers.

It happens when key players age, or the chemistry changes.

Bayern have a bunch of world class players in the absolute prime of their careers. Robben is 29, Ribery is 30, Lahm is 29, Schweinsteiger is 29. The core of the team. All at the peak of their fitness and skills.

3 years time, they'll have surely lost some of that edge. Things change, can't last forever. Bayern have their cycle and deservedly so.

Never know, Arsenal would defo be in with a chance if they meet Bayern in the knock-outs again.

Despite being out from the first leg, a 2-0 win against a full strength Bayern in the Allianz means they'd have no fear, especially with their strengthened squad this year.

Better than being beaten 3-0 or 4-0, lol, but Bayern has everything, they are how Barca was in 2009-2010 except much faster, maybe not as many big names, but def. faster in passing and counters.

--Onilink--3848d ago

well the only reason i see that it didnt end with a bulkier score is because after the 3rd they just stopped caring, they knew the game was over. Against barca they never stopped going for more goals because they were making a statement

KingPin3848d ago

what do you mean not many big names?
they have world class players.
if you follow german football as much as people follow spanish or English football you will see that the core of that team is world class.
example - walcott, hart, gerrard, rooney etc are "brand" names in EPL even though they havent each individually did anything extra-ordinary like messi or ronaldo.
Football is a team sport and team chemistry > individual greatness. thats what makes bayern work. that even though the other players are not great they work well with the core thus producing a solid unit able to take on the best teams in europe.

Nes_Daze3848d ago

@Kingpin, exactly, Barca had amazing team chemistry, they tried to copy and paste the formula to the Argentinian national team and failed. Bayern has amazing team chemistry too, but I don't think that their names are as great as. Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Puyols, Villa(2009-2010) etc. Like I said, I just think they have Barca's team chemistry, just faster, and probably more bold.
