How is it that people come to this conclusion all the time (NOT A UNITED FAN) This is the same team except 1 player that won the league with fergie last year! it's not the team it's the manager, he should of kept the original backroom staff, but can understand why he wanted his own in.

I don't even think United will be in europe next year, and who know's what kind of knock on effect this will have to them, with how much debt they are in, they cannot afford to be out of europe.

Cards are falling, just hope he spends some money in January :)

I'm gonna disagree with this. Only because you mentioned financial implications which aren't existent when it comes to clubs like Utd. The reason being that all the new sponsorship deals they have incoming are gonna keep them rolling in money for years to come. just the rumored kit deal alone is worth about double what even Barcelona get.

The team is going thru a massive restructuring. Anyone thinking we would walk the league again are fools. This man needs time. Simple as that. And I for one would like to see all plastic Man U supporters F off because it's these plastic fans that give the club a bad name acting like spoilt brats thinking we entitled to win everything.

Moyes brought in his own back room staff to United. Managerial change is not the only change at United.

Utd are half way down the table, that is the problem. No one expected them to win the league this year but I expected them to challenge for a top four spot, regardless of a management change. Plenty of top clubs change management and coaching staff but you don't see a drop off that is this extreme. The league winning squad can barely challenge for the Europa League at this rate, that is a disgrace if you ask me.

City are going through restructuring probably more-so than utd. They got new players and also got a new unproven manager at premier league level. They had the harder job supposedly if the united team was as good as everybody said. But thats it isn't it? The utd team has been overachieving under Fergie for many years now and thats a testament to Fergie not united. Once he left you could see just how bad that team really was.
