this again... seems to me they only mention him when hes scoring goals.. if he was anywhere close to the quality of ronaldo and messi, arsenal would be higher than 4th and they wouldn't have gotten that horrible beating against AC milan.
you cant honestly expect van Persie to do everything for Arsenal. Arsenal are 4th solely thanks to van Persie. van Persie has been just as beneficial to his team as ronaldo and messi are to theirs (maybe even more so).
If you watch him when he first play for Arsenal, he is exact the same he is now, is just that this season he were more lucky enough to not get injured like all his previous seasons where he injured for half of the season, and still managed to score like 20 goals
rvp always had the potential to be one of the best in the world injury just prevented that.. he's definitely in the top bracket and probs the best striker in the world at the mo but i think ronaldo and messi ar a step up above every1 else rvp wud be the first below them

I think Messi plays off the front a bit more and he is a different kind of player. As an out and out striker I think RVP is outstanding.
