Barry ruled out of England's Euro 2012 campaign

The Manchester City midfielder managed less than 30 minutes in the win over Norway, and a scan has revealed the true extent of the injury, with Phil Jagielka his replacement...

England need Carrick a player that completed 65.8 passes, on average, per game this season - more than any other English player and 3rd most overall

This would solve the problem of England not being able to keep hold of the ball.

Yeah, but he ruled himself out because he didn't want to be on stand-by. Barry's spot would be his right now if he accepted.

Means that Henderson will be playing instead. Can't say that England will be better off but glad he's getting the experience
