Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert says he would consider making a bid for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll under the right circumstances.
Carroll is not thought to fit into the plans of new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, and has been linked with a potential loan move away from Anfield to both AC Milan and West Ham United.
