Great article, I am going to respectfully disagree with you on some choices.I would have to say that Fabio Coentrao is a great asset to RM and all, but Marcelo was by far the better player last season for RM. With 80% of his passes being completed in 32 games played is outstanding with being a defender. We need his attacking effort on the same side as C.Ronaldo to be a combined offensive force. Not that Fabio Coentrao doesn't deliver (with CR and Coentrao having the chemistry of both being Portuguese) it's more of numbers don't lie.
Another player I disagree with is Higuain. Yes, maybe I'm going to contradict myself when I say, "Numbers don't lie," but I just have to go with my gut here and say Benzema is a better player for RM. With both of them having 30+ games played and both with 20+ goals, they are surprisingly a very close match up statistically. I personally feel that Higuain is a better closer with 17 games subbed in out of his 35 games played and scoring 22 goals (I don't know how many of those goals were 'subbed in goals')
Overall this is just my opinion, but I thought the article was great mate and keep it up. Can't wait for next season!
Hala Real Madrid!
