BR - Alberto Aquilani has finally put an end to his frustrating three-year spell with Liverpool, the Reds have confirmed via their official web site.
The Italian, who joined Liverpool in 2009, failed to make himself a regular at Anfield and spent the last two seasons on loan to Juventus and Milan. After failing to impress Brendan Rodgers during the club's preseason tour, Aquilani will join Serie A side Fiorentina on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
