I'm so happy about this, now it's time to get Skrtel and Agger some new contracts

Yi-Long4270d ago (Edited 4270d ago )

... he's a brilliant player and always a joy to watch, even though he can be a bit of an idiot at times. He always gives it his all.

would sell Agger, the best defender in the team but just barely played half the total games of Liverpool since he first came.

we can start Coates since its a building season

freeduck4269d ago

Yeah I know he get's injured and can only play half of the league games but he complements Skrtel so well and we concede less goals with him around, plus he is probably not on monstrous wages and he loves the club. It will be hard to get a better replacement

Actually according to Opta Stats Agger isn't as great as we all think. And to be honest when you look at the minutes played in the last four seasons I'd bite their hands off for 20 mil, it'd be a shame to see him go but that kind of cash we cannot turn down.

Great news! Him and his attitude suit Liverpool just fine.

Kopite_20204269d ago (Edited 4269d ago )

I don't think a plastic Manc can talk about players attitudes when you have the likes of Rooney (disrespectful, money hungry, unfaithful caveman) , Ferdinand (Mr Choc Ice, Suarez has been hung out to dry for saying less with little proof), Nani (crying diver), Giggs (just ask his wife and brother) and the many colourful (calm down I'm not being racist) characters in your squad. It'd be my advice you focus on making the trip to Old Trafford to support your team rather than bashing your rivals at every waking moment.

i hope its a big contract because he will still get boo'd at every away match. great player though, they should build a team around him.

Kopite_20204269d ago (Edited 4269d ago )

The abuse he got at the team GB game was classless, a lot of the people there don't know why they're booing and just join in like a pantomime while the others feel completely justified stating twisted facts they've ovheard in a pub or misleading articles scrawled on rags. I would like to know how many of those that booed had actually read the report made public by the FA from cover to cover, I imagine it'd be none. I understand why the situation is like it is because unless its in your interest to seek out the truth to clear Suarez e.g. most Liverpool fans, then it's easier to believe what's convenient and condemn the rival teams' player. I mean we saw Stoke supporters boo Aaron Ramsey last season, as if it was his fault for allowing his leg to be broken. I know it's not the same but it gives an example of the blindness some fans are afflicted with. It disturbs me how thick the public can be sometimes especially when mob mentality sets in.

For me it`s impossible to give credit to footballers like him. They can be the best players in the world, but if you`re ugly and stupid you`ll get no credit. *coughmessicough*
