BR - The curtain-raiser to the German domestic season will take place on 12 August at the Allianz Arena.
This match is meant to be contested between the winner of the Bundesliga and the DfB Pokal. In the absence of a different winner for either competition, the runner-up in the Bundesliga takes up their spot. The competition is referred to as the German Supercup.
