he parents of Javi Martinez have urged Athletic Bilbao to let their son join Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga giants have been constantly linked with a move for the Spain international, but the Basque side's president Josu Urrutia has remained firm in his belief that the 23-year-old will only move for 40 million euros.
That fee, which meets Martinez's release clause, has proved too much for the Bavarians but, according to German newspaper Bild, the player's parents have now implored Bilbao to let their son depart for Germany.
