Tottenham's transfers reminds me of Arsenal last year... Arsenal 2011: lost Fabregas and Nasri, brought in Arteta Spurs 2012: lost Modric and Van der Vaart, brings in Clint Dempsey Little bit of deja vu there
I agree. Yes they spent a lot last summer but if they don't fork over cash in the transfer windows then they aren't going to get where they want to be. You have to invest in order to get success.
Too many players left this summer and no adequete replacements. We should've just kept Kuyt and make him CF at least. Squad's too thin IMO. Rodgers said himself that it would be ridiculous to get rid of Carroll and not have a replacement. Sounds like he had some players lined up on deadline day but could not get the green light from the owners. I think Rodgers is going to feel very nervous going into the season with just Suarez, Borini as strikers, along with having Adam Morgan and Samed (18 yr olds).

Woulda hoped that he came to LFC, needed a real goalscorer. I don't get why the club decided not to get one after what happened last season..
