Manchester City gives away Etihad stadium furniture to good causes

When City decided to revamp their plush executive suites at the Etihad stadium, they sent out the old furniture on a free transfer.

Blues bosses spent thousands upgrading their swanky boardroom and Mancunian suites where fans pay upwards of £3,900 to watch matches.

And the club’s charity arm, City in the Community, swooped on the out-of-favour tables and chairs like a manager on deadline day.
