Last season, Tottenham were consistently in the top 3 for about 2/3rds of the season. Their form nosedived towards the end, leading to Redknapp's sacking.
Liverpool under Roy Hodgson were absolutely terrible. People thought they were gonna fight for relegation. During the 2nd half of the season, they bounced back from relegation form to 6th.
Not saying they'll improve greatly, but if you're going to judge, wait till at least the first half of the season finishes.
