Tom Cleverley’s 165 touches is the most ever recorded by Opta in an England game, beating Beckham v Andorra.

Cleverly and the Ox IMO were the best players in the game. The rest did just enough for a team like this, but it wont be enough to beat stronger teams. Most of the English players seem to be scared of keeping the ball they just try to pass it too fast for their own good.
