Bayern Munich suffered their first league defeat last weekend at the hands of a rejuvenated Bayern Leverkusen. The 1-2 defeat seffered at home will come as a wake up call for Bayern who have set sights on the title after a promising start to the campaign. Bayern had a similar fate last year when they lost to Hanover, which ended a eight match winning streak and lost to Dortmund and Mainz in the following weeks allowing the chasing pack to catch up with them and eventually lost grip on the title race as Dortmund grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
