Neil Lennon upset at claims Celtic played 'anti-football' in Barcelona

Neil Lennon was disappointed by accusations his Celtic team played “anti-football” against Barcelona at the Camp Nou – claiming the Catalan stars force teams to retreat into defence. (Barcelona, Celtic, Neil Lennon, UEFA Champions League)

I honestly don't think it matters. Besides, I thought Celtic did their best to play. There is only so much you can do against a team whos forward would cost more than your entire team ten times over. I though Celtic were outstanding.

its all butthurt barca fans, ohhh they didn't pass the ball and didn't open themselves..... well of course not you do that lose the ball and it'll take ages to get it back. You score early and park your bus and counter attack whenever possible.

Frankly if Barca are gonna gift chances to their opponents like they did with awful defending then they deserve to be punished no matter how long they can keep the ball. Aim of the game is to score more and therefore win, not 'how many passes can we do in a row'...

Barcelona's useless defending cost them so thats their fault. How can you moan when Celtic barely had any attacks but still scored 2 goals?

Nobody to blame about that but yourselves Barca...
