A bittersweet victory in my eyes. Sweet because it hopefully helps the team get out of the poor form they've been recently. Second I saw a much improved gameplay this time. More one-twos, more pace and more pressure off the ball and more clear chances created. Jack was amazing today. The bitter part was First, the way the goals came about. A completely undeserved first penalty and a second penalty that shouldn't have happened because of a previous incident. second was the fact that Gervinho, Podolski and Wilshere missed chances that they shouldn't have.
In the end I'll take the 3 points because Arsenal did play the better game, WBA didn't want to play today it seemed. Their goalie started trying to waist time 10 minutes into the game as an example.

i personally dont think arsenal deserved the 3 points. they had their chances and werent able to convert in open play. they had to rely on reff's help and pk's to win. i dont think this will bring them out of their poor form if they cant find a way to score fairly

I disagree. Because the same could be said for United as well, and you'd have to say they're not leading the league table on merit. Ironically, Fergie seems to think that it is their rivals that get all the penalties. Funny guy. I guess it's one of the perks of being 70+ years old - you can be as much of a hypocrite as you want and people will blame it all on senile dementia.

Being a hypocrite how. I never said that united.have deserved every 3 points this season because they haven't. But united can also score in open play and have proved that they can recover ... Arsenal still haven't proven anything with the win over west brom
