Arrest made at Etihad after racist chant heard

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that a fan was arrested at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, after racist chanting was heard during the Manchester derby. (English Premier League, Manchester City, Manchester United)

Shocking really and I don't think this is City fans of old because we have always had good mannered if manic derbies in the past.

i really wonder when this racist abuse from fans will lessen, just a few year ago it was not this bad, so what changed? my guess would be players abusing each other, but even then, the players get negligible fines but aren't arrested but the fans are, they also get named and shamed on TV and the internet

even hardcore racist must realize its not worth, surely?
