'They paid £62... go and see them' - Linesman tells Lescott to salute Manchester City fans

The match official told the defender, in the aftermath of his side's 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium, to greet the travelling supporters who had paid £62 to attend the match (English Premier League, Joleon Lescott, Manchester City)

i think this linesman has some common sense.

i think its only fair the players go over to the fans and say "thank you for supporting us". not only coz the price of the tickets, but generally speaking as well.
