What a crap second half performance..Wish we could perform like our youth players performed today, only "woke up" for the last 15 mins..FSW and his late, late pointless subs strike again

Lambert's goal came from a cross on Cole's side, and Puncheon was left all alone in the box on his side.
Lampard and Ramires weren't brilliant either.
And im really impressed with southampton's fighting spirit..they showed a lot of character out there.

The first half was explosive performance..but we lose the game because of the stupidness of Rafa tactic..why the hell he slow down the tempo in the early of 50 minutes played...they should done that on 75 min or 80min..then if you up 2-0 in the first half why do you bother to play defensively in 2nd half when you play with a team like southampton..they sould win 4-0 atleast..so this lose is influenced by the stupidity of rafa Benitez.. Plus lamps was very selfish tonight and oscar wasn't that good , cole took naps at times and cost us a goal.

Chelsea not comfortable playing at home under Benitez, but lethal away from home. Odd, because SB is usually a fortress.

The air around the bridge is very "toxic" these days. Fans are very angry and spend more time hating on Benitez and his decisions than cheering on the team. The attitude of the fans also reflects onto the team.

Goal.com awarded Torres with "Flop of the Match"... Even though he only came in the last 10 minutes. By that time it was already level. As this game proved, Torres is not Chelsea's problem, Chelsea is Chelsea's problem. How could we give up a 2 goal lead? Torres wasn't even THAT bad tonight. I mean he had a couple of decent chances and got us a couple corners.

As always, our problem is that we are not clinical with the chances that we receive, and we can't keep using Torres as a scapegoat.

Exactly..we have the striker now....soooooo what now wheres the excuse. He played ten minutes and still use him as an excuse, its pathetic.

i agree but i think at this stage, fans just dont want to see torres on the pitch any more

on any other team torres would be firmly planted on the bench or on loan but at chelsea he gets more time then his form would suggest

again, im not blaming torres for this result but its just to easy to blame him even when you shouldn't
