Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs will remain at the club for another year, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed on Wednesday night.
Giggs made his United league debut in 1991 and is the only player to have appeared in every single Premier League season so far, but with the 39-year-old edging closer to the end of his career, it had been suggested this term would be his final year.
However, after playing a starring role in United’s 1-0 FA Cup win over West Ham on Wednesday night, Giggs’ manager has revealed the former Wales international shall be staying on for a incredible 24th year at the Red Devils.
