Messi to ink Barcelona extension until 2018 on Thursday

The Primera Division leaders recently already reached an agreement with their star player, and the attacker will put pen to paper later this week

Barcelona have announced on their official website that Lionel Messi will sign a new contract with the Catalans until the summer of 2018 on Thursday.

i think that messi will not leave barca not easily of course and i will be very surprised if he plays for another club !!!

messi will be a one club wonder like giggs.

not that its a bad thing, loyalty is hard to find these days. however some players just look for new challenges after winning everything with one club.

maybe not.

you never know between now and 2018 a lot could happen.

maybe management fails, maybe who pulls a torres <very unlikely he could go that useless>, maybe he has a falling out with other team mates. etc etc. that way he could put in a transfer request.

not that any of the above will actually happen, but im just saying. in soccer, everything is unpredictable.

it's a shame that he's gonna probably stay with Barcelona throughout his entire career.. i would love to see him play in the Premier League!

But i suppose its good as he is very loyal to Barca! :D
