MLS commissioner Garber, U.S. Soccer show support for Robbie Rogers

Why does he need support? He's not dying. The players who need support are the ones still playing who can't come out as gay for fear of the abuse they'll receive. It's 2013 and a football player's sexuality actually could bring him harm if it weren't a secret. What a stupid planet we live on.
