I imagine any player would enjoy having a lot of the ball rather than chasing, Barcelona's style is too boring for me though I'd rather a team more direct like Man UTD than pass it sideways in midfield for several minutes.

That's why we never beat Barca, we don't aim to defend like Chelsea or Milan. We are too eager to get the ball and want to attack quickly.

I've always said Barca's style is to bore the opposition team to death by passing between their back four then once the opposition has lost concentration they attack. It works really well and the attack phase looks great because the opposition have completely switched off but the wait for the attack is so tedious.

To the two above, wouldn't it be the other team's fault for making the game boring when they park the bus? Their style is fun to watch, especially when you see Iniesta, Xavi, and Messi team up and pass around through places you think you couldn't get through because the defense is right on them. They don't bore anybody, inferior teams know they can't go head to head against Barca, because they WILL lose, 3-1, 3-2, 5-0, 6-2, 2-1, it just happens, now park the bus and counter, then you can probably beat them if they run out of ideas.
