Ian Wright: Arsenal needs huge cash splash to stay in top four

Goal - The Gunners legend believes that, in order to remain in contention for the Champions League, they need almost three times the 70 million pound figure currently being touted. (Arsenal, English Premier League, Ian Wright)

A bit late for that, transfer window is long gone and I don't see how arsenal will make a charge for the top 4

I thought they had the money until someone in the comments of another story told me that they're still in massive amounts of debt brought on by the new stadium. If they don't have the money, then there's nothing they can do but accept that they're no longer up there with the very best. If they, like I thought, do have the money and are just being frugal, they've only got themselves to blame. It still riles me that their tickets are the most expensive in the league.

Who ever told you that is an idiot, Arsenal payed off the stadiums a few years back now, they've been making a profit every year. Just this year they made 24-27 mil.

Actually it was just shown on skysports how they have about 120 million pounds saved up so they have money they're just being cheap bastards.

not sure they will make the top 4. dreading the game against spurs what an insult to injury that would be should they lose that game
