Liverpool: Can Reds Beat Wigan Athletic Without Injured Daniel Sturridge?

BR - Liverpool have had more than a week to recover from the disappointment of being knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Zenit St. Petersburg, and they return to action on Saturday in the Premier League against relegation-threatened Wigan Athletic.

The Reds have a good record in the league this season against bottom-half clubs, and beat Wigan at Anfield 3-0 earlier in the season.

Having initially struggled to break the Latics down in the first half, Liverpool eventually managed a comfortable three points after Luis Suarez scored early after the break—but their performance before that goal was symptomatic of their troubles at times over the past few seasons.

Why even have an article for this? Liverpool are a strong side and Wigan are facing relegation. If it was Suarez in place of Sturridge, something like this would be slightly plausible, but there literally is no point in having a whole article to answer this question. But I guess Bleacherreport loves to ask stupid and unnecessary questions as an excuse for a slideshow.
