Wonderful Everton win, fully deserved. Outplayed and outfought City from start to finish.
City missing Toure, Kompany and Aguero, not coping very well at all with those injuries unlike United last year and they looked a very average side without those players.
City may complain about the Fellaini handball which should have been a penalty, but in truth deserved nothing from this game.
Everton had a perfectly good goal ruled out in the first half, and a strong penalty appeal of their own turned down as Nastasic clearly impeded Fellaini. Not to mention the fact Milner should also have been sent off for a clear second yellow challenge about 10 minutes after Pienaar was given marching orders.
City had more than their fair share of luck in this match.
Said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think City are going to finish second. Regardless of who they were missing you would expext these overpaid wasters to perform better. Hats off to Everton, they had City in the bag the whole game.
City has gone bad to worse.
