Real Madrid Overtakes Manchester United As The Most Valuable

"Real Madrid fans have a bit to celebrate these days. In March the Spanish soccer juggernaut narrowly beat Manchester United, knocking them out of the world’s premier club competition, the UEFA Champions League. And now they’ve beaten them in business as well."

The story is too old to be commented.

I can understand that, with us having two poor years in Europe and having won nothing last season.

It's about time;

Real have had the best revenues for years, if not a decade.

Real's debt is one of the smallest in Elite level football... United's is one of the biggest, if not the biggest.

Real assets are probably the biggest in world sport other than Ferrari.

I've been saying this for years.

Let's put it this way, if it wasn't for Uniteds's "biggest debt" then United would smash Real Madrid as the most valuable team.

I'd say the only reason why Real are on top is because of Ronaldo, Mourinho and United last poor two season in the Champions League. Not to mention Madrid get to negotiate their own TV rights.

PS
Our debt is the equivalent to owing 50k on a 300k mortgage while making the payments and making profit.

Funny that, Real have had the highest revenues for years and years.

They've also been right behind United for years and years (according to Forbes at least) while they were winning nothing and getting dumped in the Champions League last 16 for 7 years running without Ronaldo or Mourinho.

"Smash" I really don't think so.

Also... difference between Real Madrid debt and United debt... Real can afford to have a debt of £300 million as they can pay it out within 2 years... United not so much. Nice to know you practically have bankrupt owners.
