Manchester United submit £35m joint bid for Fellaini & Baines

The Premier League champions have come back in for the Everton pair after seeing previous bids - described by the Toffees as "derisory and insulting" - rejected

The story is too old to be commented.

Hope this turns out to be fake. Fellani and Baines just won't offer enough at utd to justify 35m+ imho.

Agrees. Both good players, but United don't need to replace Evra just yet with an expensive player only a bit younger with no real european experience. Luke Shaw is the other option touted to give some depth to left back. Why not? By the time Evra's time has passed he'll hopefully be ready. Baines will cost top dollar and he'll need replacing himself within 3 or 4 seasons.

Fellaini is about 4th choice midfielder buy at the moment and by the time you get that far down the list you may as well call it quits and wait until a priority target is available.

With Bale just about ready to join Madrid then Madrid will offload a player or two, potentially leaving the door open for United to buy Ozil. Much better quality of player than Fellaini. Younger too!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Luke Shaw at utd and it would give him a few years to learn from the likes of Evra and Ferdinand.

A few papers have been reporting that Madrid are looking to offload Ozil to cover some of the costs of the Bale transfer. Would love to see him at OT but think it would take a while for him to adjust to the intensity of the English game. He lacks stamina and was subbed in almost 100% of his games under Mourinho.
