CR7 is a beast. 4 years and is already catching up to players who played a good 8+ years at the club. if he was at madrid from the start of his career i have little doubt he would be all time top by now.
you look at messi too, 26 and already broken almost every barca record there is to break and he still got a good 5 years left. even if he gets weaker (playing in his 30s) he will drop down to a level where scoring 20+ goals a season is enough. for a striker thats still good by todays standards.
we are really gifted this generation. gonna take a long time before we ever see two greats go head to head like this. its crazy. just have to grap the popcorn, sit back and enjoy.
