we need 2 new center backs - for ferdinand and vidic (evans and smalling arent solid enough imo)
a left back - evra is good but he's aging. evans and smalling could cover here but not sure how they'll manage on the left.
holding midfielder - carrick can only do so much. again need someone thats more creative in this part that starts the build-up to attack.
attacking midfielder - kagawa will work on condition the players around him change and he can gel with the new ones otherwise we need someone new. Fellani isnt united calibre at all. half the time he is too slow or giving the ball away.
left and right wingers - Young and valencia are not good enough. getting rid of nani isnt helping either. while he is inconsistent, young and valencia are consistently useless. januzaj looks promising but again, need a player with more experience.
strikers - rooney, RVP, Hernandez, wellback will do. although first choice would be rooney/Hernandez combo. wellbeck isnt as good imo and RVP is very injury prone. but Hernandez is on his way out so that doesnt help.
