WC: The announcement of Mauricio Pochettino becoming the new head coach of Spurs on May 27th was met with a mixed response, somewhat inevitably for a club that has a track record of recent failure in hiring bosses. After all, the admittedly talented coach has only had fourteen months of managerial experience in England and was at a team lower in the league than the club themselves, so the indicators for success weren’t exactly as obvious as the likes of Frank De Boer or Louis Van Gaal.
