Liverpool are great on attack, below average on defense, great teams need to be both, City and Chelsea are a different class because they are good all around.
Liverpool were doing well up to half time but City's depth of squad will give them the edge this season. All quality players too. Only side I can see pushing them, is Chelsea.
Liverpool had a few chances to get some goals in this game and made the wrong decisions with the final ball for all of them. But City is City; Liverpool bring on Lambert and they bring on Aguero... says it all really about the difference between the two teams. Oh, and when are Liverpool gonna drop Gerrard? He is playing on reputation alone at this stage. I personally think Liverpool are better without him.
