Not only has Die Grün-Weißen recorded five consecutive wins after downing FC Augsburg 3-2 on MatchDay 21, but midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic has signed an extension to his contract at the Weser Stadion that was due to expire in the summer. As if to put an exclamation point behind his extension and its importance to Werder, Junuzovic provided two assists in Saturday’s win.
