Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher slammed Tim Krul after the Newcastle United goalkeeper was spotted apparently congratulating Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe on his sensational goal during Sunday’s Tyne-Wear derby.
Defoe gave the Black Cats the lead with a sensational strike from distance on the stroke of half-time, and cameras subsequently caught Krul patting the former Tottenham star on the head as they headed into the dressing rooms at the interval.
Not sure why that's a problem. I think it shows class and sportmansship. Someone does something of an extraordinary quality, and you can praise him for that.
