When the going got tough at the Allianz Arena, Arsenal lacked leadership and crumbled to another humiliating 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. With Laurent Koscielny off the pitch, even the rambunctious Alexis Sanchez couldn't bring the fight out of his team-mates, who simply capitulated as their opponents swarmed forward. Whether Arsene Wenger remains at the Emirates or not beyond this season, more steel is needed if the Gunners are to ever challenge for the Champions League trophy.
