Carlo Ancelotti saw Chelsea complete an historic double at Wembley and immediately set his sights on winning the Champions League next season.
Didier Drogba scored the only goal from a free-kick as Chelsea beat Portsmouth 1-0 in the FA Cup final to go with the Premier League title they won a week ago.
Ancelotti said: "Chelsea have never won the Champions League and it will be one of our aims for next season. But the Premier League and the FA Cup will also be important. We wanted to win the Champions League this season but this team has the quality to win the Champions League without any changes. But today was a fantastic victory. We have to be happy for these trophies."
Chelsea got no club soul or qualites to go all the way up in Champions League. Sorry.
....cause he wants to skip the present.
I'm not convinced that mr. Abramovich will confirm Carletto for the next year.
Winning the double could be a great achievement for Arsenal, Tottenham, ManCity and recent Liverpool, but not for Chelsea.
The Russian guy wants the Champions League and so far it seemed not to be a matter for Chelsea.
I bet on a Mourinho return..
@ steteo : really ? mourinho return ? you've got to be kidding me and yes it is important coz it's the first time.
@BjornarO:No quality ? the stupidest comment ever even a man utd will admit that chelsea have quality with the presence of anelka, drogba lampard malouda and others
