After watching his Napoli outfit push Champions League chasing Sampdoria all the way this afternoon, despite falling to a 1-0 defeat, coach Walter Mazzarri praised his men for a memorable year in which the Partenopei qualified for the Europa League.
“We took on Sampdoria with a great quality and intensity,” he declared to Raisport.
“I think the boys deserved a little more given the performance on the field.
“Despite the loss today our season has been a memorable one.
“We have lived through a real change at Napoli and as a result were able to close the season as protagonists.
