Having guided Sampdoria to a Champions League finish in Serie A this season, Del Neri quit his post as Blucerchiati coach last week in order to succeed Alberto Zaccheroni in Turin.
An official club statement read:
“Luigi Del Neri will be the coach of Juventus starting from July 1, 2010. The coach signed a contract up to June 30, 2012.”
A very exciting coach, that can do new things with Juve.
Maybe some trophys coming in?
I think Juve has to think long-term now. An aging squad, but a couple of exciting young players like Candreva, De Ceglie and Giovinco. Maybe Del Neri is the man to take Juve up to where they belong!
