Marco Materazzi has explained the meaning behind the celebratory T-shirt he wore last night after Inter were crowned European champions in Madrid, appearing to tease bitter Italian rivals Juventus.
The T-shirt bore a picture of the defender holding the Champions League trophy and words ‘Do you want this too?’, in an apparent reference to Juventus’ recent request that Inter be stripped of the 2005-06 Serie A title following the latest Calciopoli revelations.
“It is a great joy,” Materazzi beamed on Sky Sport Italia.
I dont like Materazzi at all. Lost all respect after the wc final in 2006.
